THEMES FOR 2009
Themed submissions are due in on the first Friday of the month BEFORE the event – i.e. for the July 14 event the deadline is Friday June 5. And don’t forget that with all our themes it’s fine if you use only ONE half of the “X & Y” formula – so that if the theme is Art & Science, you can write a story involving art, or science, or both – but you are not obliged to incorporate both into the story.
Tue February 10 – His & Hers (Our only stipulation is that all stories submitted must be narrated in the third person: “he wrote”, “she drank” – no “I” narratives, in other words. And if you can work in a romantic theme for Valentine’s Day, all the better!)
